Designed in the Art Nouveau style of France, the Initial Pendant is hand-crafted by artist Kelly Morgen from solid sterling silver. It includes a silver Italian Figaro chain in your choice of 18” or 20”. Lily of the valleys blossom within the letter to represent rebirth: as flowers die with the winter and rise with spring, so too can we regrow our joy and innocence. Signed by the artist on the back, each monogram is one-of-a-kind and measures 1.5" tall x 1.1".

The initial pendant was the very first piece of jewelry I ever made. I doodled a little sketch for a “K” pendant in the margins of my notebook during Italian class. I have no idea where it came from: it was very much in the Arts & Crafts style, but it felt like the design was channeled straight through my hand. I immediately decided to make it during my metalsmithing class, and little did I know that this line of initials would fund my first purchase of a jeweler’s bench and tools! That design truly started Kelly Morgen Jewelry.
